Big Monsters And Little Mistakes

 HEYO this is the finished khorgorath for my contribution me and my friends khorne army.

 In my hobby years, i have always wanted to try new things, not just painting techniques and mediums but miniatures themselves, i want to paint like Jarhead, or Ben Komets. and to do this i need practice.
To demonstrate i painted these as another part of the army but decided to point out the mistakes.

HappyLast Day Of 2016.

First of all happy new year, second of all don't expect posts as frequent as in the summer.
more like the early winter posting schedule. Expect some more reaper minis, not many 40k models at all. tutorials, music lists (on promethium) more actual painting techniques and theory's and less lore for ROTA. Try not to make any ambitions resolutions, ease into things. i wont touch much, i want to be a better painter. Most people would try to exercise more, that's good but i already have been doing wight training for Quite a while now, and i encourage others to do the same. But don't be a douche about it.

New Projects

it was a very merry Christmas I hope, i got some cash, some candy and a lot of family dinners
However half way through my priming of the 20 bloodreavers, my light broke, and i had to migrate to another workshop.

 i got allot of reaper bones items, i wanted to try some new things, work with a more challenging material.

 i have allot to burn through on these sprues

 be sure to use a strong adhesive if gluing plastic to metal or wood.

 under the light of this small lamp, my painting paled in comparison to my previews work, so i will take a hiatus until i pick up some more tubes.

 it was a total of $dollars, but $30 of those where off a gift card.

Sisters Of Battle, are they worth the cash?

The "new" warhammer sisters of battle have mixed reviews and i have mixed feelings on them, i think if they rehashed them in plastic they could get away with the price change, but many fans are happy that they are on the store again.

 One of my favorite models from GW, the Penitent Engine. I think would be ten times better if redone in new better plastic and with slight improvements to the design, think of the conversions for inq28!, sales would sky rocket.But is in my opinion worth the cash 

 The same case for this tank, it looks so grand and magnificent, but would be even more so if it matched the quality of the other newer tanks and is worth the cash if you are putting it into an army, but for display, just convert your own.

 Some more of my favorites, the Repentia Squad I think actually should stay the same, the classic look would bring diversity to an army. worth it

 Not these ones though, they always looked a bit ugly to me, and if they matched the quality of the canoness would be an amazing squad, with some amazing conversion opportunitiesNOT WORTH THE $100

 Finally, the best yet, the canoness,  one of my favorite John Blanche art pieces brought to miniature form, Something I would definitely want to paint sooner or later, BTW, the repaints of the blightkings should be up soon. Worth the cash

GW was doing the right thing with this model, i think if they were to do more squads in this style the sales would increase at a much higher rate.
But this is all just my opinion, and to each their own.
